Locked within the King's most secure vault dwells a being known as Moira, Guardian of the Treasury. As the result of an experimental attempt at a permanent immortality spell by the Elder Wizard, Moira was rendered undying, immensely strong and as insane as any creature to ever walk the earth. She dwells in the vault, clad only in rags, but can often be found clutching immensely powerful magical weapons and muttering, screeching, and cackling at odd intervals. Such are the tales told by the servants who have been unlucky enough to accompany the King in his trips to the vault. They say she was once his concubine and still bears considerable affection for him-the reason she makes the perfect guard. Some say that the King will still lay with her; still others claim that a babe, twisted and deformed, was born down there in the vault.
